John Enys, 1772-1802

John was the son of Samuel Enys and Sarah Penrose. He was made High Sheriff of Cornwall in 1796 and married Jane Maria, the second daughter of William Villebois of Feltham Place, Middlesex. John Enys was involved in a case in Chancery court against his mother, for more information see the article below. He died aged only 30, and was buried at Gluvias. As he had no children, the estate passed into the hands of his uncle, Francis Enys (1753-1821).
